5th Element are looking for a new bassist!

Unfortunately our lovely bassist Dave’s personal circumstances have changed so we are now looking for a new master of the Sonic Rumble-Hammer! Dave has very kindly said he will play with the band until the right person comes along.

So if you are a bassist looking to join an established, high quality and well respected rock band, please read on!

5th Element are: Ann (lead vocals), Neil (lead guitar), Alan (rhythm guitar) and Aaron (drums). We are a high quality, high energy, experienced rock band. We play some of the best known rock and biker pubs and clubs in the North West and we are no stranger to larger events on the biker rally/rock festival scene both in the North West and across the country, playing to audiences of more than a few thousand. We work hard and play hard to get the audience going and really enjoy what we do, which we hope is infectious! Whether we’re playing for a crowd of one or one thousand, we always give 110% to keep ‘em shakin’ all night long!

We already have a full gig schedule for the remainder of 2016, and we already have bookings coming in for 2017 too. We are a busy gigging band and are always prepared to travel for good, fun gigs.

You can have a look at who we are and what we do at www.5thelementrocks.co.uk We are also on the following social media websites:

Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/5thelementrocks
SoundCloud (for demo) - https://soundcloud.com/5thelementrocks
YouTube – http://www.youtube.com/user/5thelementrock
Twitter – http://twitter.com/5thElementRocks

To see our current set list, please check out our website here - http://5thelementrocks.co.uk/set_list.html It would be great if you have already played as many of these songs as possible, or can learn them quickly.

We rehearse reasonably regularly or when putting new songs into the set, in Bolton (at either Redbridge Studios or DoA Studios), which is an ideal ‘central’ point for the band as we are based in Manchester, Swinton, Southport and Hazel Grove respectively.

Our singer, Ann, also writes her own original material. We completed our first originals EP at the end of 2014 and are currently in the studio working on our next originals project. You can listen to our originals EP on our SoundCloud channel and we also have a music video for two of our original tracks (‘Please’ and ‘Who Am I’) available to view on YouTube.

We are looking for an experienced and solid bass player (not necessarily a technical player) who can lock in with Aaron (our drummer). We are quite a lively band and we would like the bass player to be part of the party with us! Being able to deliver the performance is really important to us. Having your own good quality kit and own transport is also essential.

If you are interested, we’d love to hear from you. Please email Ann our singer at info@5thelementrocks.co.uk (including your phone number so we can give you a call) or PM us on here!

Cheers!

Ann, Neil, Alan and Aaron (5th Element)

If I wasn't so shy and retiring (and a bit weird) I'd apply for this....
