All in All, A Great Weekend for Me

Thanks to the Mothers Ruin Brothers

After finding myself without a band for the past few months, Tony & Ian from Mothers Ruin have been kind enough to sort me out with a few gigs in the mean time. The most recent of these were this weekend at the Plough in Caddishead and then last night in Helmshore at the Coghead MCC birthday bash.

A tale of 2 gigs, the Plough is a cracking little venue and the second time i've played here with MR. A decent crowd with the added bonus of an 11pm cerfew so a nice early dart!

Last night was a great biker doo. I've done a few over the years, and some can be busy, others a bit quiet. I'm pleased to say that the Coghead gig was one of the good ones. Complemented by Tony managing to pack a full range PA into the car with his bass gear!
First set was relativley quiet, but things livened up in the second. The place was bouncing by the end, plus theres always the added bonus of some 'well dressed ladies' in the crowd.

So, a great weekedn. Just hope the MR guys can find it in their hearts to throw me a few scraps of gigs to keep my gig ready in the future!

Ah well, back to a live of weekends to myself!!!!
