at last !! a replacemnet

when i was but a boy I had a 25th Anniversary strat (255282) I learned to play on this beast, until it was nicked out of the boot of the car (Yep Dont leave guitars in cars folks) 27years later Ive finally found a replacement thats still silver (the clear coat yellows due to UV light and the turn green YUK) zero fret wear and its been in its case for 30 years.
Plays and sounds fantastic, will be making occasional appearances at gigs (only come out of the case at night)
Original guitar

27years on

Got a Hayman 1010 from Renos paid £9 per month on the drip, my brother signed as guarantor and I had to hide it from my old fella! He found it though...

I wish I still had it now, so retro, beautiful Ash body, smoked perspex scratch plate, 3 single coils....sigh
