Barrow in Furness has some of the most talented Artists and Performers in the country.


The Derby encourages up and coming promoters and Dj`s to host there nights at the Venue. A variety of all genres of music nights are catered for, ranging from Old Skool, House, Bounce, Dance, Dubstep, Minimal etc. Some of the finest Disc Jockeys from the town who have performed locally as well as internationally are as follows;


Jonny Williams, a.k.a Quango is one of Barrows finest House and Electro
producers. With a string of hit songs throughout clubland and numerous compilation cd`s,
Quango can often be found Djing at the Derby and on the circuit around
Barrow as well as the rest of the country.

DJ Matt Fear = old skool piano/ synth House anthems ..Dj Bassdriver = old skool
House & Hardcore (91 to 94 breakbeat aswell as mid 90s happy hardcore); UK
Hardcore from 2010 onwards!...Both = all genres of old and nu skool House floorfillas.

The Derby Hotel also encourages up and coming bands as well as bands that have been on the gigging scene for years.
