Last Saturday night

After much deliberating I decided to go and watch After hours, they had a new drummer in the form of Ann, it was her first gig with After hours and she was a bit nervous, she did`nt need to be she did a 1st class job, mind you if she had known that almost everybody in the place was a musician she might have been a bit more nervous.

Lee is a very good guitarist and is well known in the Preston area and as such he always gets a good turnout a lot of which are musicians, and Saturday was no exception, it was just like a muso`s outing, the venue is a very small intimate club, which was packed to the doors with one poor guy behind the bar with no other staff.

After Hours are a blues/rock band doing a significant amount of their own material, with some Hendrix and other classic rock material thrown in, all played to a very high musical standard by a bunch of very talented musicians, a real pleasure to watch.
